　　老友米克和弗雷德结伴前往阿尔卑斯的度假旅馆，他们以爱和幽默的视角，探讨子女们满是麻烦的生活。米克是导演，正在积极创作自己看来最重要的一部电影，而早就没有了事业追求的指挥家、作曲家弗雷德却收到女王伊丽莎白二世的邀请为菲利普的生日演奏。

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

　　罗素·克劳将合作《当幸福来敲门》导演加布里尔·穆奇诺拍摄一部新片《父女情》（暂译：Fathers and Daughters）。　　该片剧本来源于好莱坞剧本黑名单，故事讲述了一对生活在纽约的父女之间的亲情故事。克劳将扮演一个著名的小说家，他同时也是一位鳏夫父亲，他一面要与精神疾病搏斗，一面还要抚养自己的五岁小女儿凯蒂。这个故事会在上世纪80年代和凯蒂生活着的现代曼哈顿社会交叉叙事，而影片也将重现凯蒂试图去遗忘的童年阴影。　　导演加布里尔·穆奇诺称本片是“一部依靠表演驱动的电影”，他表示找不到比克劳更适合去演绎这种父女感情戏的演员，同时，穆奇诺也对这部影片信心十足，“它令人心碎的同时也令人振奋，对我来说，它就像是会令人回忆起70年代《克莱默夫妇》《飞越疯人院》那样经典美国电影的一部影片。”　　加布里尔·穆奇诺这部新片的故事很难不让人想起他2006年的影片《当幸福来敲门》，一个穷途潦倒的单亲爸爸，因事业失败无家可归，却还得担起抚养儿子的重担。为了儿子的未来，他重新振作，终于皇天不负苦心人。这个感人的亲情故事当年也曾助推男主角威尔·史密斯入围奥斯卡最佳男主角的提名。在感情上的刻画、渲染和催泪上，穆奇诺可谓十分拿手。而新片《父女情》能否助罗素·克劳再度竞逐奥斯卡表演奖令人期待。　　罗素·克劳今年在结束《钢铁之躯》的宣传后，接下来的新片还有达伦·阿罗诺夫斯基执导的《诺亚》以及《美丽心灵》《我是传奇》著名编剧阿齐瓦·高斯曼的电影导演处女作《冬日传奇》，除此之外，克劳还要初执导筒，拍摄并主演电影《The Water Diviner》（暂译，The Water Diviner）。

　　影片讲述了二战中，美国第一批黑人飞行员，克服当时制度和种族上的限制，组成了一支带有实验性质的特殊的轰炸机护卫队——塔斯克基飞行（TuskegeeAirmen）。他们的飞机上都画着“红尾巴”，于是这也成为了他们的绰号。“红尾巴”这支美国军事史上第一支由非裔美国人组成的飞行员编队，因为参加战争培训被派往阿拉巴马州随时准备迎战。在那里，他们经历了猖獗的种族主义和骚扰，他们的飞行和战斗能力曾饱受质疑，但“红尾巴”在空中卓越的表现，促使空军废除了种族隔离制度。他们在与意大利、德国的冲突中也起到了不可或缺的作用。
